Magic Vest: Meeting of the Queens - size 1
Introducing magic vests! Magic vests are quilted vests made with a variety of applique details, machine free-motion stitching, and hand stitching. Each magic vest is imbued with a lot of love and intention and is intended to be a special piece of wearable art that can act as a kind of magic spell, prayer, wish, or whatever word resonates most for you.
This magic vest is painted with imagery of the moon and the sun as women on the front reaching out for eachothers’ hands - inspired by a story from the book The Starless Sea. The back features a Triskele - an ancient Celtic symbol which has quite a few meanings, one of which is that it represents the Triple Goddess of Maiden, Mother Crone. The Triskele can also represent earth, wind and air or the movement of energy.

For the vests, I recommend having 2-6 inches of ease around the bust depending on your desired fit/amount of flowy-ness. Bust measurement is twice the pit-to-pit measurement. Meaning, measure your own bust/chest and select a size that has a bust circumference of 2-6 inches more than your own.
Size 1 Measurements
pit-to-pit: 21"
width at hem: 22"
length: 20"
armscye (arm hole): 10.5 -
These pieces are made with a lot of care and thus should be handled with care. These vests should be spot-washed when needed and should not be put in a washing machine or dryer - if they get very dirty, then you can carefully hand wash or take them to a dry cleaner.
